Lucian Tidorescu                 Biography                                                     

 

-1969- On the 27th of May I was born in Arad, Romania                                    

-1970- I am one year old

-1971- I am two years old

-1972- I am three years old and perhaps that is when I first scrawled

-1973- I am four years old

-1974- I am five years old

-1975- I am six years old

-1976- I am seven years old

-1977- I am eight years old

-1978- I am nine years old . this is when I heared about Beethoven

-1979- I am ten years old -I listened to Beethoven on vinyl

-1980- I start to go to Philharmonic

-1981- I listened to Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, Rachmaninov,..

-1982- I made the first portrait.It was of my grandfather.

-1983- I started drawing lesson with a teacher

-1984- I continued to go to the philharmonic, and I copied almost all of Michelangelo’s drawings.I cannot integrate into Art School

-1985- I listened to rock music

-1986- I listened to rock music, make portraits of my friends, read classic novels, and began studying Italian Renaissance

-1987- I was in the army

-1988- I was still in the army

-1989- After the army, I listened to more rock music

-1990- After the Romanian Revolution, I became interested in politics and democracy,.I read about Napoleon, Stalin, Beria,..

-1991- I toyed with a movie.  I viewed  Scorsese, Tarkovsky, Copola,..

-1992- I realized that I was wasting time

-1993- I wasted my time, listening to rock, and classical music,and I decided just to have some fun.

-1994- I lost all contact with art

-1995- I went the same way

-1996- It began to back me

-1997- There was no way.

-1998-I realized that I was  wasting my talent so I began to make plans about the painter’s life

-1999- 2000- I copied all of the 142 studies of Jenö Barcsay of Anatomy For The Artist

-2001- I studied portraiture and anatomy

-2002- I went on looking for my own style of painting

-2003- I finally discovered it,having been inspired by the stained glass of Stanislaw Wyspiansky 

-2004- I painted portraits of Beethoven, Brahms, Liszt, Verdi, Dvorak,..

-2005- I continued with portraits of George Enescu, Mozart, Miles Davis, Michael Kamen, Carl Orff, Frank Zappa,..

-2006- I sold the first picture of George Enescu.It was a passion on various topics

-2007- I sold in Romania

-2008- I made my studio. The success started as I sold in New York. I appeared in magazines, one in“LA AESTETCA  Y EL  ARTE CONTEMPORÁNEO “ in Argentina

-2009-In February  I went to“Liszt”.The  school logo is HART COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL in Munfordville, Kentucky

        In September-“Brahms” is the cover MÜMO in Münich

-2010- april-poster of festival”12th SEASON OF GREAT MUUSIC”  in Vancuver.
